Little comments

Karmann is such a trip. I just can't explain how funny she can be sometimes. Her latest list includes calling out "Super Mommy" and "Super Daddy" and when we say "Super Karmann" she waves her hand and says "No. Not Super Karmann, I'm Karmann". She's also getting really good at swimming and being around the water. Her three morning requests are in this order when she wakes up in the morning - Can we go to the beach? (not today) Can we go swimming? (not today) Can we go shopping? Each is said with such enthusiasm and excitement, that it breaks my heart to say no! She is a big fan of flip-flops, too, but when she tries to say "flip-flops" it usually comes out as "sit-ups" which makes us laugh again.
She's noticing my big belly more and more and the other day when she was laying in bed with us, she pulled up my shirt and started to give my bellybutton "zurburts" which were so hilariously funny sounding (to come out of a little 2 year old) that I was crying laughing, plus the fact that it tickled like crazy! So she's been doing it over and over to make me laugh.
She's also a sensitive soul. Bless her heart, if a classmate is mean to her, she breaks down crying over the littlest thing. She complains every night when I pick her up about who hit her or pushed her that day. (I hope she's not going to be a tattle tale). On the other hand, she's also pretty bossy, so she might deserve some of it!! We are going to talk to the teachers about this and see if we need to address it or not. She really can be the sweetest thing, though!!
These are my thoughts tonight. More is going on, but I'll blog about it later. Good night.
