Reverse order photos

These are the latest photos - in reverse order - from the last week. We had a great Thanksgiving a week early with the Stenger's here in Orlando, and then just us went to SeaWorld actually on Thanksgiving, as it was a beautiful day to be outside! Grandpa Hare also came down for a visit to help decorate the Christmas tree with Karmann. We;ve also been going to lake Eola a lot to play on the swings and feed the swans. Karmann even ran into her good friend from school there one time and shared a swing with Ginny :)

Okay, okay, its been two weeks already and I'm finally getting photos uploaded! I have so much to blog about and so little time! In short, Max had his 2 wk doctor appointment yesterday and he has gained back his birth weight and more - up to 8 lbs. 15 oz. and his head and body both grew 1/4"!! So he's doing just fine! Karmann is doing better each day as well, and loves her little brother! Last night Grandma and Papa Stenger arrived for their visit, and so far Max has been an angel - as usual, and Karmann has been at school today, but I'm sure will be excited when she gets home!
Well, sorry this is so short, but its time to feed Max again! More to come soon, I promise!

And then there were four...

Its a BOY!!! Welcome to the world (not so little) Maxwell Harrison! Thursday morning was a quick induction for me and he was destined to get here fast! Only 6 hours after being admitted to the hospital, and only about 10 minutes of pushing, out he came! He was 8 lbs 14 oz!! 21 1/2" long. He is beautiful and perfect!
As I m writing this, we have been home for two days now, and things are going well. I had a great experience at Winnie Palmer Hospital, which way exceeded my expectations. And my mom made it here on Wednesday, just in time to watch Karmann as Max was being born. Max has been a good baby so far and is catching on well to breastfeeding and maintaining his weight. My milk finally came in today, so he's been pretty much just eating and sleeping all day. He went on his first outing to the doctor's office for his newborn check up today, and things look good. He's a little jaundice but since he's maintaining his weight and since we were supplementing with formula, its not a concern like it was for Karmann. He already knows how to hold his pacifier in his mouth - which is pretty funny and impressive! But we are only using that when needed.
Big sister Karmann is adjusting. She's doing the normal acting out, but is really sweet to Max and though she forgets his name frequently, she seems to like him. She is so funny that she thinks because Max is breastfeeding, that she can also suck on any part of my body- like my elbow or shoulder - and she can eat from me too! Also, she as grabbed the pacifiers and put them up to her chest like she has "boobies" and walks around - it is hilarious. We are doing our best to pay attention to her - in fact, today, she woke up and as usual, wanted to go to the beach. She threw such a fit and went and got her bathing suit on, that Kris decided to take the morning off work and actually take her to the beach. This all happened before 630 am, so they were at the coast by 8 am and back by 11. She had fun and got some one-to-one daddy time, which was well needed. When we went to the doctor with Max, he asked about Karmann and when we told him Kris took her to the beach this morning, he was impressed. I was a little concerned at first this morning, but it turned out to be a good thing, as she was somewhat a good girl the rest of the day. She still pooped in her pants, but did go poop in the potty once today, and also went pee in the potty all day, so baby steps! We plan on her going to daycare the rest of the week so she stays on her schedule and my mom and I can get other things done around the house. She seems so grown up compared to Max of course, and can't believe its almost been 3 years already since she was born!
Well, everyone in the house is asleep except for me, so I am going to take that as a sign to get some sleep. I will up load photos soon and get them here asap. More to come soon. Goodnight!
