The month is not over yet! Last weekend we headed to Venice Florida to visit hometown friends from Danville - Beth and Al. We spent the night there while Kris and Al went to see a game in Fort Myers. The kids had a blast and it was great to catch up with them. It had been almost 2 years since we've seen each other! The kids both really took a liking to Beth and Al - especially Max, who wanted Al to hold him the whole time! The next day we had breakfast at Cracker Barrel and then headed to a game in Port Charlotte to see the Rays play. It was a perfect day, though the kids wanted nothing to do with the game. We had good seats on the lawn, but the play area for kids was where we spent most of our time until it was too hot and time to head home. Next time we'll leave the kids with Beth and Al and see a game by our selves!
On the road trip - Kar will be a great working professional someday! She wanted to wear my glasses and schedule things in my calendar.
