A week ago, I was lucky to attend my coworker Elisabeth's wedding shower. It was a Friday evening affair, for which I was able to coordinate with Kris' schedule so I could go - alone! I was so glad I did because I had a fun girls' night out! The location was the recently opened "Gallery on the Edge" which is reference to Edgewater Drive in College Park. It is a very cool boutique that includes fun art, jewelry, and cute gifts (including baby stuff!) as well as a whole section in the back of post-modern funky furniture (which I remember my parents and parent's friends having in their houses growing up!) The shower was pretty informal, and the shop owners set it up for us with little high-top tables near the back and then after we browsed around, we settled back in the furniture area to chat and have a little co-worker fun! It was a great little setting for such a get-together and I will definitely be taking a trip back to shop and telling friends all about it! I hardly ever am on that side of town, but I will be needing a special trip back soon!
