FOUR YEARS OLD!!!

We celebrated Karmann's bday yesterday - two of her best friends Josie and Alex, and their moms and the two of us went to Cheese Cake factory for lunch and then back to our house to decorate "gingerbread" houses and dress up. Josie's mom took these adorable photos, so I had to share!
Though, no pressure for an architect to build a structurally sound ginger bread house from graham crackers! The module of the crackers worked well, however, in FL, when crackers get stale, they get soft - so today while getting ready for work, I heard a crash - which was Kar's house falling off the ledge in our kitchen and crashing into a million pieces on the stairs below!!! The structural integrity of the stale gram cracker had reached its limit and the candy on the roof was too much to bear! I was devastated and in shock for about 10 seconds before I was thankful that Kar was already at school. I am hoping she won't even notice! Ha ha! Next year I will have to actually bake the ginger bread....(I thought I was being resourceful but guess not!)

Maxwell so wanted to be apart of the action - but we kept him away - he was looking in through the doors to try and see what was going on. We at least let him join in for cupcakes and opening presents! Anyway, I had to share. We will be celebrating her real birthday on Wednesday with my dad. Then its count down to road trip!!! Please wish us luck as I am hoping that Max will tolerate the (are we out of our minds?) road trip home.
