No injuries or trips to the ER allowed

Over the process of building the house, we had a lot of wonderful friends and volunteers come help. One of the rules was "No injuries or trips to the ER allowed!" Though I can't say it was an injury free process for the volunteers, it WAS an injury free experience for Kris - until last Friday, that is.
He was off work, and had scheduled the electrician to come to install the LAST light fixture in the upstairs bathroom. He had installed a temporary fixture and temporary tile for the appraisal, and was now having to remove both to install the new fixture. He was in the process of removing one tile that was set in more than the others. While prying it off the wall with a crowbar and hammer, it cracked in half, popped off the wall, fell down and sliced open his fleshy part of the underside of his left forearm. Luckily the electrician was already there, and he was able to drive Kris to the ER for stitches. FOUR hours later, and who knows how much the bill is going to be, he got a botched up job of about 7 stitches. It is healing well at the seam, so hopefully it won't be so bad when the stitches are out.
I'll spare you the photos, which we have if you are interested, but it basically looked like a fish belly sliced open on his arm. Thank goodness it wasn't his eye, neck, or an artery in his arm!!! I am very thankful he is fine, will be fine, and lets pray that's the one and only trip to the ER!!
